As part of its 2024 Annual Summit "AI and Human Creativity", the Mellichamp Mind and Machine Intelligence Initiative is organizing three AI/Human Creativity contests: Short Story, Visual Art, and Music.

The contests aim to compare the creative capabilities of humans, AI, and human/AI collaboration. The submitted short story, art, and music will be judged with no knowledge of whether the entries were created by AI, human/AI collaboration, or human only. More information and detailed instructions can be found at the links below.

ELIGIBILITY:  Open only to UCSB undergraduate and graduate students of all majors.  

DEADLINE:  April 10th, 2024 (11:59 PM PST)

GUIDELINE:  AI-generated work, in part or whole, and human-only generated work is accepted.  

PRIZE:  $700 prize per contest + featured on the Mellichamp Mind and Machine Intelligence website.
